Booking and Terms of the Photography Session IN THE LENS
We start with:
1. Package Selection: The client selects a photography package and reads the information regarding preparation for the session.
2. Contacting the Photographer: The client sends an e-mail: in.the.lens7@gmail.com to the photographer, specifying: selected package type, preferred date and time of the session. The photographer confirms the available date or suggests an alternative session date.
3. Booking Confirmation: To confirm the booking, the client pays a deposit of CAD 50 via electronic transfer to the photographer’s email address.
The deposit is the only guarantee of the session reservation.

4. Confirmation e-mail: Upon receipt of the deposit, the photographer will send an email confirming the reservation.
5. No deposit – no reservation , If the deposit is not paid, the session will be automatically canceled and the date will not be reserved
6. Deposit and session cancellation :
- The deposit is refundable only if the session is cancelled no later than 48 hours before the scheduled session date.
Both the Photographer and the Client have the right to cancel the session without providing a reason.
If the Client cancels the session later than 48 hours before the scheduled time — the deposit is non-refundable.
If the Client fails to attend the session and does not inform the Photographer — the deposit will be fully forfeited, and the session will be considered completed from the Photographer’s side.
If the Photographer cancels the session, the deposit will be refunded in full or, with the Client’s consent, transferred to a new session date.
7. Only people participating in the session or guardians of minors are allowed in the studio. We do not take outsiders.
8. The customer cannot interfere with the photos sent by the photographer (e.g. processing the photos himself, applying filters, etc.
This is a violation of copyright and disregard of the work the photographer put into the photos.
9. Posting photos on social media must be marked with the name of the photo studio and the name and surname of the photographer.
10. Retouching, preparedness and personal appearance:
- Sessions in the studio are not beauty sessions.
- Standard retouching includes minor skin corrections and basic light adjustments.
The Photographer does not: adjust body shape or weight, modify facial features, correct lack of body or hair care (e.g., oily hair, regrowth), retouch or improve clothing brought by the Client (wrinkles, poor fit, stains).
The Client is responsible for following the preparation guidelines provided before the session.
Failure to prepare does not justify a complaint about the final photographs.
The Photographer ensures the proper condition of studio wardrobe items but is not responsible for the appearance of Client’s own clothing used during the session.
11. Photo Selection: All photos taken during the session are pre-selected by the photographer and then presented to the client for selection. These are RAW photos, straight from the camera.
The client chooses 8, 10, 12 or 16 images, depending on the selected package.
After the selection, the photographer proceeds with professional editing and retouching according to the chosen package.
- RAW files (selection gallery) are stored on the ShootProof platform for a period of 5 to 7 days for client selection. After the selection process, the chosen images undergo full professional editing.
- Once editing is completed, the final images are delivered directly to the client via email.
- The photographer archives the final images for a maximum period of 30 days from the delivery date. After this time, all files are permanently deleted. After 30 days, it is no longer possible to purchase additional images, request edits, corrections, or receive a re-delivery of the photos.
After selecting the photos and sending the information to the photographer, the photos cannot be exchanged or further edited.
The photographer considers the submitted photos as the final selection, approved by the client.
The client has the option to purchase all unedited RAW files for an additional fee of CAD 300 + HST
12. Being 20 minutes late for a session without prior information is tantamount to its cancellation.
The advance payment referred to in point 3 of the regulations is non-refundable.
13. In case of illness, participants are obliged to inform about their worse health condition,
which means that the photo session will be postponed to another date.
14. Responsibility for Damages:
- The Client is fully responsible for any damage to the photography equipment, studio furnishings, decorations, or props caused by themselves, their children, or any session participants.
- In the event of damage, the Client will be charged the full cost of repair or replacement.
- If the damage prevents the Photographer from conducting the current or upcoming sessions (e.g., equipment malfunction), the Client will also be responsible for covering the costs of cancelled sessions resulting from their actions
15. Health Requirements:
- Conducting the session requires all participating children and adults to be in full good health.
- The Client confirms that the health condition of participants does not pose any risk to the child during the session.
- Attending the session with any signs of illness or infection is done at the Client’s full responsibility.
- The Photographer holds no responsibility for any health deterioration or consequences if a session is held while a participant is sick or medically advised to avoid such activity.
The safety of your children is very important to us during the photo session.
To ensure a smooth and secure experience, we kindly ask you to follow these guidelines:
- Full Responsibility: Parents/legal guardians bear full responsibility for their children during the entire photo session.
- Supervision of Children: Please supervise your children at all times. The studio set contains electronic equipment, cables, and lighting, which can pose potential hazards if not handled properly.
- No Running ! No Touching the Equipment ! Children are not allowed to run on the set or touch any photographic or lighting equipment.
- Unforeseen Incidents: As the photographer, I am not liable for any incidents that may occur on set due to a lack of supervision of children.
- Safety First: The Photographer reserves the right to stop the session if the behavior of any participant endangers the safety of the child, equipment, or persons in the studio. In such a case, the deposit and session fee are non-refundable.
16. The session participants have read the regulations, and participation in them is tantamount to their acceptance and compliance with the conditions.
After the Session – What’s Next?
After the photo session, you will receive an access code to the gallery. To access the gallery, simply enter your e-mail address and the code you received.
After the session, you will receive RAW photos, which are handled exactly as described in point 11.

Time: It takes 14 business days to edit your photos, and you will receive an SMS informing you that your gallery is now available.
Payment for sessions: on the day of the session, cash / e-transfer
Add: There is an option to receive additional RAW photos from your session – approximately 50 images. These are straight out of the camera, with no cropping and no editing applied. The cost for this option is CAD 300 + HST
